Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2006/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the quality of fresh waters needing protection or improvement in order to support fish life. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to ensure the quality of fresh waters with a view to supporting fish life. Article 3 establishes that the freshwaters listed in Annex 1 and 2 must comply respectively with the quality requirements laid down in Annex 3 and 4. The text consists of 6 articles and 4 Annexes.
