In particular, it refers to contracts between entitled persons and producers. The "Agrarmarkt Austria" (AMA) is authorized to take samples of the butter to test them. If the quality does not comply with standards no contract can be issued. The costs of sampling and examining have to be born by the producer. Article 9 contains detailed marking and storing regulations. Furthermore, each butter lot has to be stored separately. The entitled person of a storehouse has to keep registers as to loading and unloading of butter, etc. Entitled persons must allow access to their premises for inspection by competent authorities, i.e. the Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA), the Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry, and various bodies of the EC. This Ordinance consists of 15 articles and 1 Annex. The Annex lays down the quality criteria for butter. The above-mentioned AMA is entrusted with the enforcement of this Ordinance.
