Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the enforcement of the federal legislation on slaughtering and meat inspection. Article 4 deals with the nomination of meat inspectors Articles 5 and 6 lay down respectively provisions relating to the building and running of slaughterhouses. Article 7 establishes that the cantonal veterinary decides where sick animals may be slaughtered. The carcass shall be conserved in a cool place until the time of inspection. Article 9 concerns the slaughtering and determination of the weight of carcasses. The text consists of 14 articles.
