Abstract This Ordinance regulates the measures to be taken for the control of the common almond grass in particular (a) the detection of an infestation; b) the control of an infestation on cultivated land; c) the measures to prevent its spread; and d) the promotion and compensation measures. The Ordinance provides for the monitoring obligations to determine an infestation, review and mapping of the infested area by the Office for the Environment, and to take control measures and to combat. The Ordinance further provides for the actions to be taken for excavation, keeping the area free of vegetation and management adjustment in the infested area, laying out buffer strip, cleaning of tillage equipment and machines and disposal of excavated plant materials and soil. The Ordinance further provides for sponsorship and compensation benefits, reduction or refusal of funding and remedies. This Ordinance consists of 26 Articles divided into 6 Sections.
