Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Animal Disease Act of 20 October 1966 and the Federal Swiss Act of 9 October 1992 on foodstuff and object of daily use. In particular, the Ordinance regulates the fees levied by the Food Control and Veterinary Office and for third parties acting on their behalf for activities, performances and expenses in the sphere of food control and animal disease legislation. The text consists of 10 articles as follows: Principle (1); Fees for ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection (2); Fees for trade in animals (3); Fees after complaint (4); Fees for special services and inspections (5); Fees for authorization (6); Fees for other services (7) ; Rest of procedural costs (8); Repeal (9); Entry into force (10).
