Abstract The purpose of the present Ordinance is to implement various cantonal and federal regulations on the same subject. The Department of Territory is entrusted with the enforcement of the legislation. It shall issue periodical guidelines concerning hunting activities and the promotion of the habitat for wild animals. The hunter shall carry along the hunting permit anytime he is hunting. With a view to allow the control of the game killed a hunter must report on the spot and immediately in the appropriate register the date, hour and place of killing of the animals as well as their sex and the length of their horns.
