Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs of 15 November 2005 and Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety of 28 January 2002. The purpose of the Ordinance is to regulate measures to be implemented by food business operators to control zoonoses and zoonotic agents to assess their origin and trends of occurrence. The text consists of 4 articles.
