Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2000/59/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2000 on port reception facilities for ship-generated waste and cargo residues. Article 1 designates sea ports situated in the Land of Lower Saxony. Article 2 establishes that the operator of a sea port shall forward without delay to the competent authority complaints concerning inappropriate waste reception facilities.
