The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1998.
Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the control of animal disease. Article 1 establishes that the Economy and Health Office is responsible for the enforcement of legislation on animal control, disposal of animal waste and livestock trade in the Canton Basel-Landschaft. The text consist of 44 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: Organization (A); Tasks (B); Trade in animals, animal materials, semen and embryos (C); Animal disease control measures (D); Animal Diseases Fund (E); Provisions on execution (F); Final provisions (G).
