To this end article 1 provides for the establishment of a center for the protection of agricultural plants. The tasks of this body are: a) the organization of the plant protection service; b) the monitoring of state of health of agricultural plants; c) the fight against plant diseases; d) the promotion of ecological production; e) the training of producers; f) the issuance of the authorization for integrated pest management; g) the creation of a data base for producers and consumers.
