Abstract

The present Ordinance has been adopted to amend the Ordinance of 26 August 2005 establishing veterinary police measures against poultry contagious diseases. The Ordinance is supplemented by inserting new provisions concerning the obligations of persons engaged in the breeding of poultry and in the marketing of poultry and poultry products, with a view to ensuring the traceability of such products. The Annex attached lays down specific sanitary measures, with particular regard to requirements to be met by farms, disinfection and disinfestation procedures.
