Abstract This Ordinance is composed of 4 Chapters divided into 11 articles. Chapter I contains preliminary provisions and gives terms and definitions. Chapter II deals with the establishment of the General Authority and defines its objectives and competencies, in particular: to provide, import, process, store and deliver veterinary supply; to participate in the increment and accretion of the national income; to define the quality and quantity of veterinary supply; to establish public and popular veterinary pharmacies; to ratify contracts and agreements; to coordinate with competent authorities for the establishment of veterinary industries and laboratories; to acquire, sell, rent and own lands and buildings; and, to accept donations and aids.
