Abstract

The Ordinance sets out safety requirements for selling sites, marketing facilities, vehicles and stalls. Specific provisions are made with respect to the sales of fresh meat, meat and fish products. As far as the vending of food and beverages is concerned, the Ordinance establishes a duty of the street food vendor to apply and update the relevant safety procedures on the basis of the principles of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system.
