Abstract

Deputy Chief of the Veterinary Department, in connection with difficult epidemic situation as regards helmithoses on the territory of St.Petersburg and for the purpose of ensuring safety of fish and fish products destined for vending in St.Petersburg, prophylaxis of helminthoses and strengthening control over fishing areas situated on the territory of St.Petersburg, orders as follows: 1). Chief of State Institution for control of animal disease must strengthen control over epizootic situation of fishing areas situated on the territory of St.Petersburg. 2). To increase the number of selection of fish samples in the fishing areas for testing parasitical purity. 3). To oblige specialists of state veterinary survey to strengthen control over the processing regime at the fish-processing enterprises for the purpose of rendering harmless helminthosis pathogens perilous to human beings. 4). To carry out formal acceptance of produce for storage and processing only in the presence of notes in the veterinary accompanying certificates attesting parasitical purity.
