Abstract

The Mayor, for the purpose of improvement of legal regulation of land relationship, safeguarding inviolability and protection of the right of citizens to land ownership, formation of valuable market of the plots of land, including sale and purchase, mortgage, lease of the plots of land, as well as for the stabilisation of social and economic situation on the territory of St. Petersburg and the administrative territories under its jurisdiction, orders as follows: 1) Physical persons that have been allotted the plots of land before the date 29 October 1993 on conditions of life-long hereditary property, open-ended (permanent) use or in lease (except for lease contracted from physical persons) for individual housing, or summer cottage construction are allotted the plots of land measuring up to 0,12 hectares free-of-charge. Physical persons that have been allotted the plots of land for the same purposes after the date 29 October 1993 are allotted the plots of land charging the normative price of land applicable for this category of payers. 2)Physical persons that have been allotted more than 0,12 hectares for the above-mentioned purposes and on above-mentioned conditions retain the right at their choice either to keep the excessive land on conditions of life-long hereditary property or to purchase it at a contracted price. 3) Owners of the plots of land or land shares must use them strictly in accordance with their purpose. The change of the purpose of use entails liability in accordance with the legislation currently in force.
