Abstract

This Ordinance, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Law on forests, determines: 1. the planning and implementation of the protection of forest territories against erosion and torrents; 2. the types of facilities and activities for protection of forest territories against erosion and torrents; 3. the design of anti-erosion activities and of technical-fortification facilities; 4. the construction, maintenance and acceptance of fortification facilities for protection against erosion and torrential rains; 5. the requirements for creation of protective forest belts; 6. protection against landslides in forest territories. Hydro-technical and forest reclamation activities shall be applied for the successful implementation of the protection against erosion on forest territories, and in landslide territories (also geoprotective activities).
