Abstract

This Ordinance, based on the provisions of the Bulgarian Law on forests, determines the content, conditions and procedure for the creation, maintenance and storage of forestry maps. The forestry maps are specialized maps which contain: 1. data from the cadastral map for: (a) the boundaries of permanent forest areas; (b) the boundaries of landed properties; (c) data from the cadastral register of the real estates - identifier of the property, type of territory, type of ownership and way of permanent use; 2. specialized data for: (a) the boundaries of subdivisions in forest areas; (b) the boundaries of the hunting economic regions, their hunting economic division, the location of the biotechnical facilities and the specialized fodder base; (c) quantitative and qualitative data for the subdivisions. The forestry maps are aimed for defining the borders of territories with equal permanent purpose (the location of subdivisions and land properties in forest territories). The forestry maps shall be used for: 1. updating data from the information system for the forests and the activities in them; 2. elaboration of forestry plans and programmes; 3. elaboration of hunting business plans and hunting business maps; 4. elaboration of plans for management of protected territories outside those, which are exclusive state property under the Protected Areas Act; 5. elaboration of plans for management of protected areas under the Biological Diversity Act; 6. elaboration of plans for protection of the forest territories from fires; 7. acquisition of documentation related to change of the permanent purpose of land properties in forest territories, with recognition or transfer of property right or with establishment, transfer, change or termination of another real right on land properties in forest territories; 8. other cases, provided by law or other normative act.
