The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 November 1969.
Abstract

The present Ordinance enforces the Introductory Law relating to the federal fisheries legislation of 28 April 1968. In particular, the Ordinance sets out in details the competent authorities in the Canton responsible for the enforcement of the aforementioned Cantonal Law. Article 3 establishes that the Executive Council shall elect for the constitutional term a Fishery Commission consisting of 7 members and 1 secretary. The text consists of 66 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Organization (I); Fishing rights (II); Exercise of fishing (III); Management of fisheries (IV); Protection of fisheries (V); Inspection of fisheries (VI); Penalties (VII); Transitional and final provisions (VIII).
