Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions implementing various regulations on fishing and on the protection of fish and indigenous shrimps. The Office for Hunting and Fishing is responsible for the enforcement of all regulations concerning fisheries. Article 2 lists the authorized fishing areas in the Canton of Ticino and their respective seasons. The text consists of 33 articles divided into 8 Sections as follows: General provisions (I); Fishing activities (II); Concessions (III); Fund for fishing fauna and fihsing (IV); Protection and improvement (V); Associations and commissions (VI); Various provisions, penalties, settlement of disputes (VII); Final and transitional provisions (VIII).
