Abstract The present Law implements the Bavarian Hunting Law (BayRS 792-1-L). The text deals with the following matters: hunting in delimited areas, delimitation of high mountains, juxtaposition of high mountains and boarders of hunting grounds, minimum size of common hunting grounds, statute of the Hunting Association, provisions concerning leasing contracts of hunting grounds, hunting grounds for big game, hunting permits, marking of protected areas, hunting in parks, traps for catching living animals, traps for dead animals, wild game registration, red deer areas, hunting seasons, training of dogs for hunting, compensation of damages caused by wild animals, and penalties.
