The present Ministerial Ordinance comes into effect as from April 1, 1994.
Abstract

The present Ordinance by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry provides for the correct and efficient enforcement of the Fishing Boat Act. In particular, chapter III deals with registration of fishing boats and the issuing of a registration card. Chapter IV and V respectively lay down provisions relating to inspection and examinations concerning fishing boats. The text consists of 46 articles divided into 7 chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Adjustment of the building of fishing boats (II); Registration of fishing boats (III); Inspections concerning fishing boats (IV); Examinations concerning fishing boats (V); Designated certifying agencies and designated validating agencies (VI); Miscellaneous provisions (VII).
