This Order comes into force in accordance to Article 8.
Abstract

This Ordinance is implementing Articles 38 and 94 of the Environment Protection Act 2008. The Ordinance provides for ban on the placing on the market of certain single-use plastic products and oxo-degradable plastic production and the requirements for the quality of certain single-use products. The Ordinance's object is to prevent and reduce the effects of certain plastic products on the environment and human health. The provision of this Order apply to the trade and traffic of single-use plastic products and products made from oxo-degradable plastic. Article 4 lists the single-use plastic products that are prohibited to be placed on market. This Ordinance consists of 8 Article divided into 4 Parts as follow: General Provisions (1); Ban on Placing on the Market and Requirements for the Nature and Labelling of Certain Plastic Products (2); Penal Provision (3); Final Provisions (4).
