Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Wine Act in the version of 16. Mai 2001 (BGBl. I S. 985); the Wine Ordinance in the version of 14 May 2002 (BGBl. I p. 1584) and the Wine Inspection Ordinance in the version of 14. Mai 2002 (BGBl. I S. 1624). The text – consisting of 26 articles – deals with the following matters: competent authorities, re-planting of vine, classification of vine, Wine Registry, expert committee, restructuring, calculations for clearing of land, notification on oenological control proceedings, accompanying papers, denomination in the Wine Registry, labelling, simplified accounting, penalties, violations and gender equalization.
