Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is to enforce the Council Directive 94/55/EC of 7 April 2003 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States with regard to the transport of dangerous goods by road. The Ordinance introduces some substantial amendments to the Ordinance on transport of hazardous goods on roads (Hazardous Goods Road Transport Ordinance) of 3 March 1998. In particular, the Ordinance amends article 3a on Exceptions and derogations; article 33 on Warning signs during transport of hazardous waste; article 44 on Experts; article 14 on Hazardous goods experts. Furthermore, the Ordinance amends Annex 1, 2 and 5.
