Entry into force notes

This text shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the State Gazette, with the exception of article 3, which shall enter into force on 1 January 2030.

Abstract

This Ordinance amends certain provisions part of the Ordinance No. 6 of 27.08.2013 on the conditions and requirements for construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and waste recovery and disposal installations (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Bulgaria 80/2013, and already amended in the Gazette 13/2017). Changes are regarding the contents of articles 1 (requirements for the gradual reduction of landfills, in particular waste suitable for recycling), 2, 13 (separately collected municipal waste and bio-waste for reuse and recycling, with the exception of waste from subsequent treatments of separately collected waste, for which landfilling gives the most environmentally friendly results in accordance with the waste management hierarchy), and 38.
