Abstract This Order, consisting of 14 Chapters and 3 Annexes, establishes the Regulation for any activity related to Ovines within the State of Rio Grande do Sul (PROESO). The PROESO Strategies are: prevent, control and/or eradicate animal diseases that may compromise the health state of sheep and goat, throug the promotion of the following activities: Health Education; Epidemiological studies and monitoring; Traffic Surveillance and Control of ovines; Registration, Inspection and Certification of Health facilities; Immediate intervention when arise the suspect or occurrence of animal disease, with taking the appropriate actions for each disease.
