Abstract

This Order determines the manner for implementation of international standard on phytosanitary principles for plant protection and application of phytosanitary measures in international trade no. 1- given in the Annex of this text. This standard describes the phytosanitary principles for plant protection, which are covered by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) and explained in its International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures. The standard covers plant protection principles for cultivated and non-cultivated plants, wild flora and aquatic plants. They refer to the application of phytosanitary measures during the international movement of people, goods and means of transport.
