Abstract

This Order, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), prescribes emergency measures aimed to prevent the introduction and spread of the harmful plant organism-bacterium Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi et al. on potato tubers and deriving from Egypt. The introduction of potato tubers into the Republika Srpska originating in Egypt is permitted only if they originate from those areas listed in the list of non-infected areas, published on the official website of the European Commission, and in in accordance with FAO International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 4: “Pest Surveillance-Requirements for the Establishment of Pest-Free Areas”, provided that the following requirements are met.
