Abstract

By virtue of powers vested by Section 3 of the Forest Ordinance (Chapter 451) as amended by Act, No. 13 of 1966, Act, No. 56 of 1979, Act, No. 13 of 1982, Act, No. 84 of 1988 and Act, No. 23 of 1995, I, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources by this Order declares the following forest areas within the Matale District as Reserved Forests: Urulemulla, Habaragodakanda, Lenadora Dummalakele, Wegaodapola, Gangahenwela, Ambokka, Kandalama, Arangala Penalaboda, Karawilahena, Gansaraapola, Alakolamada, Dambagahamadittha, Mahaweliganga Maraka, Angunuwelpelassa, Nawaneliya - Beligoda, Naminioya, Enderagala, Rambukoluwa, Tittawelgolla, Lihinipitiya - Akkara haduwa, with different extension in hectares bounded by the limits set forth in the respective Schedule attached to the text from 18 November 2009.
