Abstract

By virtue of powers vested by Section 3 of the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 451) as amended by Acts No. 13 of 1966, No. 56 of 1979, No. 13 of 1982, No. 84 of 1988, No. 23 of 1995 and No. 65 of 2009, I, Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy, by this Order declares the following nine Forest Areas: Pamburugashinna, Mullikulam, Periyamurippu, Vilaththimulam, Indikada, Pannikandamadu, Kowikodutawill, Maduwilnadu and Punnaweli of different extension Hectares bounded by the limit set forth in the Schedule as Reserved Forests.
