Abstract This Order, based on the provisions of the Serbian Law on protection and sustainable use of fish stocks, determines the permanent fishing ban for certain fish species (listed in article 1); fishing species subject to temporal fishing prohibitions (article 2); during recreational and commercial fishing, unlimited fishing of all non-native species is allowed (listed in article 4). The provisions of this text do not apply to fish produced in ponds and to imported fish. It is prohibited to catch and trade for species whose length and size are smaller than those listed in article 5. A recreational fisherman can catch a maximum of 5 kg of native fish species per day. The daily catch of a recreational fisherman is limited for the certain types of fish as specified in article 7.
