Vessels of min. 80 GRT shall be granted such permit as well as these who already have been granted cod-fishing licence in 1982. Total allowable catch for cod-fishing shall be determined by national authorities and suspension of fishing activity shall be notified by radio and press when ceiling is reached. Criteria for issuance of such licence is based on the minimum quantity of crew members (60%) having residence in Greenland for the past 2 years and having fishery as their main source of income.
