Abstract The Order sets out the classification of wastes pursuant to the Reduction of the Harmful Impact of Waste upon the Environment Act, as well as the classification procedure. The order consists of 7 points (dealing with the requirements to classification of wastes and the obligations of the competent bodies and holders of wastes) and 6 Annexes. Annex 1 provides the List of Wastes. Annex 2 gives definitions of the properties of the wastes. Annex 3 enlists the hazardous wastes categories. Annex 3a and 3b enlist different types of wastes according to their properties. Annex 4 deals with the components in the wastes enlisted in Annex 3b.
