Abstract

This Order shall be destined for coal mines with underground extraction method, territorial branches and staff of the Federal of Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision Service and testing laboratories taking samples of mine air in mine openings. The Instruction regulates the modalities of: (a) control check of composition, drawing-off, temperature and humidity of mine air; and (b) determination of gas abundance and classification of mines by methane and/or carbon dioxide. Measurement of concentration of mine air shall be carried out by mobile and stationary equipment. Mine air shall be tested for contents of methane, carbon dioxide and oxygen.
