Abstract

President of State Customs Committee, taking into account the fact of accrediting of the Central customs laboratory attached to State Customs Committee by State Committee for Standardization and Metrology (GOSSTANDART) within state system of standardization ( GOST R) as authorized institution for certification of foodstuffs, alimentary raw materials and tobaccos turned into federal property, orders to the chiefs of customs offices within the sphere of competence of Moscow customs authority, the Western customs department and customs offices under direct jurisdiction of State Customs Committee in case of absence of compliance certificate for commodities turned into federal property including foodstuffs, alimentary raw materials and tobaccos to carry out testing of the aforesaid commodities for certification purpose at the Central customs laboratory premises. Central customs laboratory must enlist the services of testing centres accredited within state system of standardization (GOST R) on contractual basis for the purpose of increase of the amount and variety of commodities turned into federal property subject to certification.
