Abstract

Deputy chief of the Federal Fisheries Committee, for the purpose of further improvement of monitoring of the stock of fish, aquatic animals and plants and improvement of information system regarding management of aquatic biodiversity, orders to validate the Regulation on cadastre of marketable fish and other aquatic animals and plants of Russia, the structure of the cadastre database, statistical forms and the instructions of their filling in as normative documentation for internal use. Pan-Russian scientific and research institute of fishing industry and oceanography (VNIRO) is appointed leading branch organization responsible for keeping cadastre. Pan-Russian scientific and research institute of fishing industry and oceanography (VNIRO) is authorized to represent the interests of the Federal Fisheries Committee in the field of registering, keeping of cadastre and monitoring of the subjects of fisheries within state institutions and the respective ministries and departments, as well as within regional, federal and international projects and programs. Cadastre of marketable fish and other aquatic animals and plants of Russian is a systematic code of data regarding state, spatial distribution and natural habitat of marketable aquatic biodiversity within internal sea, territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of the Russian Federation.
