Abstract

The Minister orders to set up Department of protection and regulation of wildlife subordinated to Krasnoyarsk territorial committee of environmental protection and validation of the Regulation on the aforesaid committee. Department of protection and regulation of wildlife is a structural sub-division of Krasnoyarsk territorial committee of environmental protection. Its officials have the status of inspectors of environmental protection and are authorized to carry arms and uniform. The main tasks of the Department are: 1. ensuring complex management in the sphere of protection and regulation of wildlife based on the principles of scientifically substantiated combination of ecological and economic interests, rational and inexhaustible nature management; 2. coordination of activity of enterprises, organizations and institutions concerning issues of protection and use of wildlife and cooperation with other authorized institutions in this sphere; 3. organization and carrying out state control over the state, use, reproduction, protection of wildlife, including the stock of fish; 4. carrying out common scientific and technical policy as regards protection and regulation of wildlife; 5. management of protected areas under the jurisdiction of the Department, keeping territorial Red Book and national Red Book within its sphere of competence. The document consists of IV Sections. Section I lays down general provisions. Section II establishes the main tasks and functions of the Department. Section III establishes duties of the officials. Section IV establishes rights and duties of the head of the Department.
