Abstract

President of the Federal Fisheries Committee orders to validate the Regulation. Chief Directorate for the protection, stock enhancement of the stock of fish hand fisheries regulation is a sub-division of the Federal Fisheries Committee. The main tasks of the Chief Directorate are : 1. elaboration and carrying out state policy in the field of rational use of aquatic biodiversity, their protection and reproduction in inland waters, territorial waters, continental shelf and EEZ of the Russian Federation and in the open areas of the World Ocean ; 2. carrying out state control over protection and use of aquatic biodiversity in inland water basin, territorial waters, continental shelf and EEZ of the Russian Federation ; 3). ensuring protection and rational, inexhaustible use of aquatic biological resources and conservation of their biological diversity ; 4). Protection of the national interests in the field of use of aquatic biodiversity ; 5). Regulation of sporting and artisanal fisheries ; 6). carrying out preventive fishing survey over the observance of fisheries legislation in the process of planning and projecting of all types of economic activity in fishing water basis and coastal zones ; 7). enforcement within the proper sphere of competence of legislation and other normative legal acts in the sphere of protection, reproduction and use of aquatic biodiversity. The document consists of III Sections. Section I lays down general provisions. Section II establishes the main tasks and functions of Chief Directorate. Section III establishes rights and duties of the head of Chief Directorate.
