Abstract

Honey is subject to compulsory veterinary and sanitary expertise in accordance with the requirements of the present Regulation. The specialists of the laboratory of veterinary and sanitary expertise that have had special training carry out veterinary and sanitary expertise of honey. This Regulation is compulsory for all physical and juridical persons engaged in vending of honey at the markets that are responsible for its presentation to the laboratory for expertise. The document consists of 5 Sections and contains 1 Annex. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 establishes veterinary and sanitary requirements. Section 3 regards selection of samples. Section 4 establishes the modalities of carrying out veterinary and sanitary expertise. Section 5 establishes control and liability for the application of the present Regulation. Annex 1 contains the methods of the selection of samples and the determination of organoleptic and physical and chemical indices. Section 1 regards the selection of samples. Section 2 regards determination of organoleptic indices of honey. Section 3 regards determination of water mass share in honey. Section 4 regards determination of amylase (diastase) activity.
