Abstract

This Order regulates 'Xiphopenaeus kroyeri' shrimp fishing in the waters of Southern and South-Eastern Regions. This Order consists of 5 articles establishing: minimum size of this shrimp specie, authorized fishing methods (maximum net extension 12 mts.) and minimum fishing net mesh (24 mm.). It also establishes sanctions to be paid by offenders (including confiscating procedures) in compliance with articles 6, 56, 64 and 71 of Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967.
