It establishes the guidelines related to the rates of waste formation for individual entrepreneurs and business entities engaged in waste management. The main indicators of the rates of waste formation shall be the amount of waste, weight, average density, and the different daily and seasonal variations of waste. Waste norms can be set up every three years and, if applicable, beforehand. The rates of waste disposal by business entities and individual entrepreneurs shall be determined by this Methodology, certified by regional authority and local government, and registered in the waste dump database.
