Abstract

The objective of this Regulation shall be aimed at implementation of environmental management plan and implementation of environmental protection plan. Environmental management plan shall be intended primary environmental document authorizing business entity to commence and continue its operations. Environmental Protection Plan shall include measures to prevent the deterioration of the environment, mitigation, elimination, residual impact, rehabilitation, resettlement, compensation, protection of historical and cultural heritage in the process of environmental management identifies the required capital and expenditures, defines the person responsible, the timeframe, and the relevant legislation, procedures, methodologies and standards to be applied. Environmental monitoring plan includes assessment of environmental impact, prevention of negative environmental impact, mitigation of the consequences thereof, and determination whether the intensity and magnitude of the adverse impact are acceptable. Environmental management plan shall have maximum period of validity of 5 years. For mining projects, the annual environmental management plan will be developed in accordance with approved exploration and mining work plans.
