Abstract

This Order establishes that uniform state land cadastre shall represent common state multipurpose and multilevel system containing reliable data on natural, economic and legal state of land in the Russian Federation, including objects of cadastre registration. The scope of keeping state land cadastre shall be: (a) state registration of and supervision over land tenure and land protection; (b) land use planning; (c) land valuation and fixing motivated land price; (d) state registration of immovable property and transactions therewith; (e) protection of legal rights to land; and (f) access to information on land transactions. State land cadastre shall be kept at three levels: (a) municipal; (b) regional; and (c) federal.
