This Order enters into force within 10 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Deposit of microbial strains, maintenance of the National Collection of deposited strains of microorganisms shall be performed by the Republican state enterprise "National veterinary reference center" under Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The depositing of microbial strains in the organization shall be performed by depositors. The procedure for depositing is divided into initial and repeated deposits. For depositing a microorganism strain by a depositor in an organization an application for depositing a microbial strain in the form of in accordance with Annex 1 and listed accompanying documentation. When transferring a microbial strain to the National Collection, it is necessary to observe the following requirements: (a) the microorganism strain must be submitted in lyophilized or frozen (cryo-preserved) or in native state, observing temperature mode of transport depending on the microbial strain (as confirmed by temperature sensors or other devices); and (b) ampoules (vials), tubes containing the deposited material must be hermetically sealed and provided with labels with the name of the microorganism strain, date of sampling.
