This Order enters into force on the date of its publication in the O.J.
Abstract

This Order, composed of 5 articles and 3 Annexes, defines the maximum values allowed in fish products for human consumption as for mercury, cadmium, and lead. The Order defines the fish species where to apply such standards and requires a compulsory analysis of the products in case of export to the EU. The Annexes provide: sample collection methods, maximum values allowed for each interested product, criteria for the analysis.
