Abstract This Order establishes the modalities for submitting and reviewing patent applications, and for issuing patents. Patentable discoveries shall include microorganisms, plant and animal cells and GMOs. Application for the issuance of patent shall contain: (a) application form; (b) description of innovation; (c) maps and diagrams (if necessary); and (d) executive summary. The application must be filled in the Uzbek or Russian language. Applicants may deliver applications in person or send them via ordinary mail to the State Patent Authority.
