This Order enters into force on the date of its publication.
Abstract

This Order is composed of six articles. It identifies priority areas for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Brazilian Biodiversity. The areas, classified according to their biological importance, shall be administrated at Federal Government level. The Ministry for Environment will establish an integrated database on national biodiversity.
