Abstract

Federal Geological and Industrial Supervision decrees to validate the Regulation on the protection of subsoil in the course of elaboration of technological schemes of the abstraction of mineral water. Technological schemes include projects of well sinking for te purpose of exploration and valuation of the stock of mineral water and must envisage protective measures for the purpose of prevention of the pollution and exhaustion of the stocks of mineral water. The Regulation consists of 5 chapters and contains 1 Annex. Chapter 1 lays down the general provisions. Chapter 2 establishes the requirements as regards the protection of subsoil in the course of elaboration of a technological scheme. Chapter 3 establishes the requirements as regards the protection of subsoil in the valuation of hydrological and technological losses. Chapter 4 regards technological and economical estimates. Chapter 5 establishes responsibility for the application of this Regulation and the control over its application. Annex 1 deals with the valuation of the mineral water resources, sets up the criteria for their selection and delimits the technological losses.
