Abstract

These Veterinary Rules have been developed to ensure veterinary and sanitary safety of controlled products and animals subject to veterinary control (supervision), confirmation of epizootic well-being of territories, places of production of controlled goods related to contagious animal diseases, including diseases common to humans and animals, and ensure traceability of controlled goods during their production, movement and transfer of ownership rights thereto and establish the forms and procedure for registration of veterinary accompanying documents, with the exception of the forms and procedures for registration established in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation. Veterinary accompanying documents characterizing the territorial and species origin, the veterinary and sanitary condition of the accompanied controlled goods, the epizootic well-being of the territories of their origin and allowing the identification of controlled goods are issued for controlled goods (batches of controlled goods) included in the List of controlled goods subject to accompanying veterinary accompanying documents from among the goods contained in the list of controlled goods established by the act constituting the law of the Eurasian Economic Union. Registration of veterinary accompanying documents is carried out during: (a) production of controlled goods (except for cases when their execution is not required in accordance with these Veterinary Rules); (b) movement (transportation) of goods under control (with the exception of cases when their registration is not required in accordance with these Veterinary Rules); and (c) transfer of ownership of the goods under control (except for cases when their registration is not required in accordance with these Veterinary Rules).
