Abstract

Russian River Register is the Federal State Institution for the classification of vessels under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport. The purpose of the functioning of the Russian River Register is to ensure technical safety of navigation of vessels and environmental safety thereof, and to certify the technical suitability of vessels for navigation. The Order consists of 8 Sections. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 determines the targets of the Register. Section 3 establishes the functions and types of activity of the Register. Section 4 regards the property of the Register. Section 5 regards management of the Register. Section 6 regards branches and representations of the Register. Section 7 regards scientific and technical council of the Register. Section 8 establishes the modalities of the liquidation and reorganization of the Register.
